RECRUIT PROCESS


As always, any NEW RECRUITS will need to go through a “Recruitment” phase before joining the team. After this time, the MoBros Team will then vote on the recruits member status. The recruit will need 100% of votes from current members in order to be patched up. So as a recruit, be sure to get to know ALL of our existing MoBros Members! Please read the following and fill out the form below to apply!

How does someone become a MoBros Recruit?

  1. You need to be over the age of 18

  2. You have already met someone on our team, and they informed you to fill out the Form at the bottom of this page so our team can contact you about recruitment via email.

  3. Once finished email screening process, this person will be made a recruit and be given our team ruleset and access to our Website, Discord, and Team Group Chats.

    • Our Team requires any who join as recruits to follow our rules & regulations and represent our team in a positive image, as our members do.

  4. After meeting, in person, for the start of the season, the individual or player will be given a recruit patch by a Team Captain and begin the Recruitment process into becoming a full Member of MoBros Airsoft.

    • Recruitment process will start April 1st of every year and event requirements must be completed by November 1st of that same year.

Now that I’m a Recruit, how do I become a Member?

  • Once you get squared away with all the online information, MoBros will need you to attend some events! This will require, at minimum, 2 SKIRMISH and 1 TRAVEL Event attended with the team. We expect our recruits to complete this process in 1 season in order to become a member of the team.

  • Once Game Requirements are completed, the existing Active Members will take a Vote at the end of the season on the Recruit to become a Member. The Recruit will require a 100% Vote from all Active Members to be allowed Member Status.

What Qualifies as a SKIRMISH Event?

  • Any event that is on our team event schedule that is not hosted by a local field where our members do not need to camp out or get a hotel.

    • These events are usually easy for Recruits to attend and gets a lot of our members a chance to meet you in person!

What Qualifies as a TRAVEL Event?

  • Any event that requires us, as a team, to TRAVEL to an event and book a hotel/camp out together.

    • Traveling with the team shows the level of dedication any recruit has as well as lets us see how the recruit acts on and off the Airsoft field. We want to be certain any future members of MoBros are able to represent our team and our team values in a positive manner both on and off the field.

FAQ about joining MoBros:

  • “I don’t really want to travel to events, I can’t afford to travel, I’ld rather just join your team and play at local games”

    • Unfortunately, Travel to games with the team is a requirement to become a full member. Not only that, its a pivotal experience we NEED every member of MoBros to have. There is nothing like taking a long weekend to travel out of state with your Bros. If this is something you can’t budge on… our team may not be the team for you.

  • “I don’t meet the age requirement, does this mean I can never play with you guys?”

    • While we ask all recruits be 18 or older, We do welcome players of all ages to join and play with us for Local and National Events!

    • Many National Event Coordinators require a parent or legal guardian at their events for the players under the age of 18. We, as a team, decided that MoBros cannot be responsible for any person’s under the age of 18 at these events. If you do plan to come to a National Event with our team you must bring a parent of Legal Guardian with you.

  • “How much money do these ‘TRAVEL Events cost? Is it really something I can afford?”

    • Depending on the event and its location, there are many different factors that play into the cost of these “travel events”. On average, our team members try to budget at least $500 per event. Below is a rough estimate of what each costs per event is:

      • Event cost ($75 to $250)

      • Hotel Cost ($50 to $150)

      • Travel/Carpool costs ($20 to $100)

      • New Gear/Camo required to play ($50 to $100)

      • Other misc. costs ($50)

    • Our Team will ALWAYS plan for events a minimum of 3 months in advance. We found this allows all of our members to budget time and expenses to be able to attend these events.

  • “I can’t really afford to play every game on your schedule… will you kick me out if I can’t play?”

    • As a recruit you just need to complete theminimum game requirements in our recruitment process. If you are unable to do so, your recruit status will simply reset for the next season.

    • Members are required to attend 2 Scheduled Events a year or, they can list themselves as “INACTIVE” members and take a break from the team or the sport entirely.

  • “Do I have to meet a certain uniform requirement?”

    • While our team doesn’t have an official uniform requirement, we do ask our members to acquire 1 set of Multicam and 1 set of Woodland M81 camo. This is so we can play Tan or Green at Milsim Events.

    • Our team adheres to the rules and camo requirements of the events we are attending. Most of the time that is either Multicam or Woodland M81.

  • “Do I really need to make a Instagram? Do I really need to have Discord? Do I really need to download FB Messenger?”

    • ABSOLUTELY! Instagram is how we promote our team online. It is pivotal to our team creating bonds with other teams and players in the community. If you want to become a member of MoBros, a dedicated IG Airsoft Profile is 100% required.

    • Discord and FB Messenger is our teams main sources of communication. Our team talks DAILY on FB Messengers and we utilize Discord for Team Meetings & Event Information. In order for any new recruit to become a member of MoBros you are going to need have these.

  • “I need to buy an M4 to be a MoBros right?”

    • NO! Use any Airsoft gun you want! We will never tell you what to run for kit/guns, but we will make recommendations based on certain events. For local skirmish events though, go nuts and break out those Springers!

    • For Milsim Events with the Team, we ask that you avoid running a sniper rifle. This is because at Milsim Events, the MoBros team runs as a squad. A sniper is usually a solo player and can rarely contribute to a squad element. If at all possible, switch to a DMR with semi-auto capability for the Milsim! Its way more helpful to your teammates instead of you being by yourself in the woods.

  • “I heard there is a fee to be on the team? How much is it?”

    • Yes, at the start of 2024 we began collecting “team dues” to pay for many of the expenses of the team that were originally covered by the Team Founders year after year.

    • As a recruit, you are NOT required to pay any sort of fee until you are official team member. Once voted in as a member you will have 3 months to pay your team fee.

    • The fee for ACTIVE MEMBERS is a total of $150/year. This fee will cover team related purchase such as:

      • Team Patches

      • Personalized Callsign Patches for members

      • Team Wristbands

      • Personalized Team Shirts for members

      • Team Pyro Orders

      • Website Maintenance & Domain Services

  • “Do MoBros do anything other than play airsoft?”

    • Yes we do! Our members get together for many other different things throughout the year! Its what keeps us great friends as well as a strong team. Some of the fun stuff we do includes…
